Dr. Rennie joined the Walton College in 2001 as Assistant Professor of
Finance. He has taught Principles of Investments, Honors Colloquium in Business,
and Portfolio Management I and II (The Portfolio Management Class

MBA Partnering Project in Finance I and II (The Shollmier Fund) and the Ph.D.
Seminar in Financial Markets and Institutions at the graduate level. Between the
Portfolio Management Class and the Shollmier Fund, Dr. Rennie and his students
manage approximately $1.6 million. He serves/has served on 4 Ph.D. dissertation
committees and supervised numerous Honors theses. Dr. Rennie also
designed/taught the course "Millionaire 101: How to Become Insanely Rich through
Investing" as part of the University of Arkansas Gifted and Talented Scholars
Program. Before joining the Walton College, Dr. Rennie taught Principles of
Finance, Corporate Financial Management, and Micro-Economics while working on
his Ph.D. at the University of Oregon. His prior experience includes 14 years
service in a variety of operational and support positions with the Canadian
Armed Forces (Air Force), where he reached the rank of Major. Recent Research Articles
