Scholarships
Departmental Scholarships
Applications for these two scholarships are available through the Undergraduate Studies Office, Walton College of Business, 328.
- Colonel John P. Lake Scholarship Fund in Economics - Open to undergraduate and graduate majors in Economics.
- James A. Williams Memorial Scholarship Fund in Economics - Scholarships for undergraduate or graduate economics majors, or persons pursuing research projects in economics. Recipients will be selected according to a single criteria, that of scholastic excellence in economics.
Other Financial Aid
From time to time, the Dean's Office receives notice of specialized and often very valuable scholarships. Ask about these possibilities. Scholarships, grants, and other financial aid are also available through the University. These awards are based predominantly on financial need. To be eligible for University financial aid, you must have completed all the necessary application forms at the Financial Aid Office, Silas H. Hunt Hall, Room 114.
General Scholarships
The College has a limited number of scholarships available. These are available primarily on the basis of academic achievement, although financial need may also be considered. Most scholarships are in the amount of $600 per year. Applicants should be entering their junior or senior year of study, although sophomores with outstanding academic records may also be considered. The college generally does not fund students who have been awarded departmental scholarships.
Fulbright College of Arts & Sciences
Applications are available through the Dean's Office or through the Financial Aid Office, HUNT 114. Applications should be turned in by April 1st to the Financial Aid Office.
