| Pre-Collegiate Programs |

The Walton College and the Office of Diversity Programs, along with
business contributions, sponsor summer one-week residency programs for
minority high school students. The purpose is to connect students with
the many opportunities for interesting business careers in the future. |

| Accounting Career Awareness Program |
| ACAP introduces students to the field of
accounting and other areas of business administration through a
carefully tailored curriculum. During the week, students attend
classes in accounting, computer information systems, and oral
communications, taught by Walton College faculty. Students
network with minority professionals from business and
government, as well as observe them in their work environment. |

Technology Awareness Program |
| TAP is a one-week program designed to introduce
minority students to the field of computer information systems.
They learn how technology assists business organizations in
their decision making process to operate more effectively.
Students attend classes in information technology research,
computer information research, multimedia and oral
communications. These students also network with minority
professionals from business and government, as well as watch
them in their work environment. |

Girls and Money Management Enrichment |
| GAME is a program designed to educate high
students about the effective and proper use of money and credit
and to increase their awareness about potential careers in the
field of finance. G.A.M.E. is a six-day program to that
introduces groups that are under-represented in higher education
and in the field of finance. To attend the program students must
be in grades 10, 11, and 12, with a grade point average of 2.80
and above, and submit a completed application. |
