Greetings! I am pleased to report that the Walton College has once again been ranked among the top 25 public undergraduate business schools in the United States. The research output of the faculty has similarly been ranked among the top public business schools. And you probably have heard that the Walton College received in 1998 a gift of $50 million from the Walton Family Charitable Support Foundation, Inc. - the largest upfront cash gift ever for any business school.

Hello, my name is David Hyatt, and I currently serve as the Senior Assistant Dean for the Walton College. In addition, I am also a graduate of the College, earning a BSBA in '89 and an MBA in '98. I have worked at the University since 1990 in roles varying from plant and property accounting, to taxation, to information systems development, and now to my current role in the Walton College.

The Senior Assistant Dean is responsible and provides support for a wide variety of operational aspects of the Walton College, including infrastructure, safety, security, certain personnel issues, space allocation, budget and financial matters, benchmarking, data management and planning, and computing and technology. The individuals representing these areas are:

These offices provide a variety of support services to the college, from the most mundane, such as moving a file cabinet for you, to something complex, such as managing the twenty-one computing servers in the college, to something confusing, such as preparing a grant budget! The one common theme to these services is that they are always delivered with the highest levels of customer service.
